Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. To make this notice easy to find, we make it available on the bottom of every page and at every point where Personal Information (and defined below) may be requested.



This Privacy Policy sets forth the manner in which we collect, process, use, share, and retain Personal Information, in any format or medium, relating to our, customers, vendors, online webpage users, and others who do business with ASC Software.

The Information We Collect and its Purpose:

In order to perform our business functions (e.g., respond to requests for information, provide requested materials) satisfy our contractual obligations, manage, secure, and maintain our website, and/or provide goods and services, we may need your Personal Information. For example, the types of Personal Information we collect includes the following: name, address, email address, phone number, fax number, professional title, company name, online identifiers and possibly financial information in order to complete a transaction.

Online Marketing and Tracking:

When you browse our website, you do so anonymously, and except as set forth herein, Personal information is not collected. How We Share Information:

We use the information you provide us solely for our business purposes. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to complete a request or transaction. For example, we use return email addresses to answer the email we receive and such addresses are not used for any other purpose and are not shared with outside parties. In addition, you can register with our web site if you would like to receive our information as well as updates on our new products and services. ASC also may disclose your information when ASC determines that applicable law requires or permits such disclosure, including exchanging information with other companies and organizations for fraud protection purposes. How Long We Retain Your Information:

ASC will retain Personal Information concerning our customers, vendors, website visitors, and others who do business with us so long as it is necessary to perform an ordinary or a common business function or to comply with a legal, regulatory, or contractual obligations.

To prevent unauthorized access, maintain data accuracy, and ensure the correct use of information, we have put in place appropriate physical, electronic, and managerial procedures to safeguard and secure the information we collect online.

Your Choices and Rights:

Withdrawing Consent. If you have lawfully and appropriately consented to ASC processing your Personal Information, then you may withdraw that consent at any time. In some circumstances, withdrawing your consent to ASC’s use or disclosure of your Personal Information will mean that you cannot take advantage of certain of our offerings or website features.

Your California Privacy Rights. If you are a California resident, you may request that we provide to you (i) a list of the categories of Personal Information about you that ASC has disclosed to third parties for the third parties’ direct marketing purposes during the calendar year preceding your request, (ii) the names and addresses of such third parties, and (iii) if the nature of the third parties’ business cannot reasonably be determined from their names, examples of the products or services marketed, if known to ASC, sufficient to give you a reasonable indication of the nature of the third parties’ business. The General Data Protection Regulation. If your Personal Information is protected under the European Union (EU), General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (2016/679), then you have the following rights (subject to certain exceptions) related to your Personal Information: to request access and rectification to, and erasure of, Personal Information (see below); to request a restriction on processing Personal Information; to receive Personal Information in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format; to transfer Personal Information to another organization; to object to the processing of Personal Information; and, to not be subject to a decision that is based solely on automated processing, including profiling. You may also have the right to lodge a complaint with supervisory authorities in the EU to remedy or otherwise resolve matters or concerns related to the collection, use, processing, or retention of Personal Information.

How You Can Access or Correct Your Information:

You can access all your Personal Information that we collect online and maintain by logging into your online account, or by contacting us by phone or email. We use this procedure to better safeguard your information. You can correct factual errors in your Personal Information by sending us a request that credibly shows error. To protect your privacy and security, we will also take reasonable steps to verify your identity before granting access or making corrections.

Data Transfers:

ASC is a United States-based organization and is subject to U.S. laws, including those governing the privacy and security of your information. When we obtain Personal Information we may process the information outside of the country in which you are located, including in the United States. The countries in which we process the information may not have the same data protection laws as the country in which you are located and may lack a data safeguard adequacy finding by the European Commission. We will protect your information as described in this Privacy Policy.

Children’s Privacy:

Children under 13 years of age are strictly prohibited from visiting or using the website and ASC does not knowingly collect any Personal Information (such as name, address and telephone number) from children under 13 years of age through our website. However, if the parent or guardian of a child under 13 believes that their child has provided us with Personal Information, that parent or guardian should contact us if they want this information deleted from our systems. If ASC obtains knowledge that it has Personal Information about a child under 13 in retrievable form in its files we will delete that information from our existing files. In addition, anyone under 18 years of age should seek their parent’s or guardian’s permission prior to using or disclosing any Personal Information on this site.
